Check AvailabilityReserved for guests who want the most refined evening on Oahu’s waters, the Signature cruise is hosted in the Super Nova Ballroom on the fourth and top deck of the Star of Honolulu. Every party is seated at its own private table with full window views, ensuring an intimate Hawaiian dining experience that feels closer to a fine restaurant than a typical cruise.
The evening opens with a Bon Voyage hula welcome and a celebratory sparkling toast, then unfolds into a chef-curated five-course menu built around a Nova Scotia Maine lobster and beet carpaccio starter, USDA Prime tenderloin of beef with truffle mashed potatoes, and a chef’s special dessert. Two super premium beverages from a hand-crafted cocktail and wine selection are included with the meal.
Soft piano music carries you through dinner. As the sky shifts from golden to twilight, Oahu’s top jazz artists take the floor for a feature live performance, with room to linger and dance. On Fridays the ship stays out an extra hour for an open-water view of the Waikiki fireworks show.

How is the Signature cruise different from the Deluxe and Buffet?
The Signature is the only tier with private-table seating in the exclusive Super Nova Ballroom on the top deck, a featured live jazz show and super premium drinks. The Deluxe is plated dining in the main dining room with the Polynesian show. The Buffet is self-serve with one signature Mai Tai.
Is the Signature cruise a good choice for proposals and anniversaries?
Yes. The private window table, intimate jazz atmosphere and Reception enhancement plan (including memory photo, lei cake and champagne pairings) make it the most popular tier for engagements, anniversaries and milestone celebrations.
Is there a dress code?
Smart resort or aloha attire is recommended. Many guests dress up for the evening, but there is no jacket requirement.
Will I see the Waikiki fireworks from this cruise?
Friday evening sailings stay out an extra hour for an open-water view of the weekly Waikiki fireworks show. Standard nights focus on sunset and Diamond Head views.
Are vegan or alternative entree options available?
Yes. Fish, chicken or vegan entrees can be requested in place of the tenderloin with 24 hours advance notice. The ship also accommodates most special diets on request.
